Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has elected Johnson Onuigbo as its new chairman.
Other elected executives include Princewill Onyegbu (deputy chairman); Ibe Nwadioha (secretary); John Okoro (assistant secretary) and Steve Omeoga (treasurer).
Matthew Ibe becomes the vice chairman, Abia North, Obinna Nwachukwu (vice chairman Abia Central) and David Chigbu (vice chairman Abia South).
Also elected are former Information Commissioner Don Ubani as the publicity secretary; St Moses Ogbonna, (organising Secretary); Ike Omenihu (legal adviser); Stella Igbokwe (woman Leader); Jerry Uzosike (financial secretary); Mrs. Ezekwesiri Ananba (auditor) and David Iro (youth leader).
