Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun yesterday inaugurated 2.35km Arepo-Journalists Estate Road.

He expressed the determination to raise the bar on road construction.

Abiodun said he would embark on projects capable of making life more meaningful to the residents.

The governor, who described Arepo road project as a remarkable one and his administration’s commitment to the provision of good governance, recalled that he promised during the build up to the 2019 general election to fix the road if elected as governor.

He expressed delight that Arepo Road, which had been in a bad state for years, had been constructed.

The Olu of Arepo, Oba Solomon Atanda Oyebi, thanked the governor for fulfilling his electoral promise by fixing the road.

Former Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos State Council Chairman Mrs. Funke Fadugba hailed Governor Abiodun for fixing the road.
