Popular Nigerian actor and creative contents creator, Samuel Perry with screen name “Broda Shaggi” has expressed feeling of fulfillment for appearing in the movie CHIEF DADDY 2 (Going for broke). The movie produced by Mo Abudu is a sequel to the earlier part released in 2021. The scenes he appeared in were shot in Dubai, as he acted alongside Folarin Falana (Falz), Beverly Osu, Beverly Naya and Linda Ejofor among others.
When asked what being in the movie mean to his career as an actor and the striking experiences from it, Shaggi responded by saying “it means a lot to me because it is my first production with Ebony Life studios, I have always looked forward to working with them as it is a reputable production company.”
He further asserted his joy on the fact that his working relationship with the movie empire ignited in faraway Dubai is a landmark reality to him. In his words, “My scenes were not shot in Nigeria, we had the shoot in Dubai and it was a lovely experience, it was my first time filming in Dubai as well”.
As directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, the movie parades top screen delights such as, Funke Akindele-Bello, Ini Edo, Joke Silva and several others. “I feel good because this is the same actors I have always wanted to work with as role models and here we are working on the same project, it indeed feels good”, Shaggi maintained.
When contacted, Broda Shaggi’s Manager and Lead Srategist, Olufemi Oguntamu shed more light on the movie shoot experience. Olufemi mentioned that, it is coming at a right time for the team, as Shaggi continues to become a reckonable force in the comity of entertainers, and such inclusion is a big edge for the brand.
