Actress Bimpe Akintunde is mourning the sudden passing of friend and colleague, Monalisa Stephen, a popular plus-sized activist and body-positivity advocate.
Monalisa reportedly died on May 13 in Lagos after struggling with low blood sugar and internal bleeding.
Bimpe expressed grief on social media, lamenting that Monalisa didn’t reach out during her difficult moments.
She questioned why Monalisa suffered in silence and described the loss as unexpected and painful.
In her post, Bimpe condoled with Monalisa’s family, particularly her mother, and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
