The Commissioner of Police in Adamawa State, CP Sikiru Akande, has paraded 31 suspects arrested fro various offences in the past week.

The suspects, paraded yesterday morning at the state Police Headquarters in Yola, included a woman charged with beating her child to death.

Another suspect was 34-year-old Eke Yakubu, picked up allegedly for killing an unborn child after he impregnated one Linda Isah and procured medicine which was used for abortion.

One suspect stole someone’s Toyota Starlet car.

The CP told newsmen that the suspects were arrested in one week of “tactical and intelligence-driven dusk to dawn raid of criminal hideouts” around the state.
