In Lagos State, Olajide Adediran garnered 679 votes to beat his closest rival, David Vaughan (a.k.a, Dakova), who had 20 votes to clinch the ticket of the opposition party.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Emmanuel Ogidi, noted that Badagry Local Government Area was not accredited because officials of the party there did not cooperate with the committee.
