Africa Magic eulogises Ada Ameh, Sola Onayiga

Popular M-Net movie and general entertainment channel Africa Magic has eulogised actresses Ada Ameh and Sola Onayiga who died on Sunday.

The well-known movie channel joined others Nigerians to salute the celebrated veteran movie stars who did remarkably well to entertain viewers while alive.

Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie Domitilla in 1996 and famous for her comic character “Emu” in the series, “The Johnsons”, was reported to have died on Sunday night at a hospital in Warri, Delta State

Onayiga, the stage and screen actress, who became very popular for her role as “Ireti” in two television series “Checkmate” and “Fuji House of Commotion”, died in the early hours of Monday.

In honour of the entertainment heroine, Africa Magic took to their Instagram page to salute them for gracing our screens and putting smiles on the faces of several thousands of people.

The movie channel noted they would be sorely missed but never forgotten.

“A rare gem has left our presence on earth, but she will forever be in our hearts. ADA AMEH, you brought so much light, love and laughter to our screens and homes.

“Your ever bubbly nature will be forever missed but never forgotten. Rest well. We will all miss you. #AdaAmeh #GoneButNotForgotten #AMTheJohnsons”, it captioned post holding Ameh’s photo.
