Nigeria’s Prince Aggreh has warned Henryk Kasperczak and Tunisia that they should be wary of the Super Eagles in Friday’s meeting at the Stade Régional Nyamirambo despite winning the championship once.
The Super Eagles spanked Niger Republic 4-1 in their first match while the Carthage Eagles were forced to a 2-2 draw by Guinea.
And though the stylish forward recognises the north Africans will prove a tough test as they chase their first win in Rwanda, he feels his side’s team spirit and hunger for success is enough to strike fear into any opponent.
“”They should be scared of us,” Aggreh, who tormented Niger’s defenders on Monday told Goal.
“We have nothing to be panic about. Our match against Tunisia is like any other game and we will approach it with maximum concentration and determination.
“Winning the tournament before us makes no difference because we are here [in Rwanda] for a purpose and they won’t stop us achieving team.”
Aggreh is one of the five Sunshine players in Sunday Oliseh’s team and he feels that has helped him build his confidence because of his closeness to them.
“Having them [Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Eze Stephen, Paul Onobi & Tunde Adeniji] in the starting XI makes me feel good because we know ourselves very well.
“We play for the same team, know ourselves and have been staying together for over a long time. That has really helped because we understand ourselves perfectly on the field which is good for the team.
“Also, coach Oliseh has been helpful too because of his useful piece of advice all the time, and we can only hope we bring the trophy back to Nigerians,” he concluded.
