Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved payment of N1.2billion to pay gratuity of pensioners that retired in 2014.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the governor would flag off distribution of cheques to the pensioners tomorrow.

The statement said local government pensioners who retired in 2011, 2013 and a fraction part of 2012 have been paid.
It said N320million was set aside monthly by Aiyedatiwa for the settlement of other categories of the pensioners’ benefits.
