Akeredolu, others to serve on APC’s True Federalism Committee

Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is among those selected to serve on the All Progressives Congress (APC) Committee on True Federalism.

The APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, in a letter, dated July 17, appointed the governor to serve on the committee.

The letter said the committee would review the ideas proposed and recommend a party position based on the manifesto and campaign promises.

The committee is expected to complete its work on August 20.

Other members of the committee are: Governors Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Umar Ganduje (Kano), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun); former Governor (Prof.) Oserheimen Osunbor (Edo); APC National Organising Secretary, Osita Izunaso; APC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi and Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi (Committee Secretary).

Also, a meeting of the committee will on August 4 at the Kaduna Lodge at Asokoro in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
