The Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, has visited Akinlalu community in Ife North area of Osun State to commiserate with the victims of Amotekun killings and maiming during an invasion by the corps.
Oyebamiji, a leading governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC), who tagged his political movement as ‘AMBO’, also gave scholarships to the children of the victims.
He was received at the palace of Alakinlalu of Akinlalu, Oba Oluwabusola Oloyede, during the condolence visit.

Oyebamiji promised immediate building of an ultramodern police division in the town.
Addressing the community and the victims of the attack, he said AMBO movement would spare no efforts to support the families of the victims that lost their lives in the incident.
Oyebamiji, who sympathised with the parents and families of the deceased, vowed to work with security agencies to bring the culprits to book.
