Aniyikaye praises Ifeanyi Ubah’s dedication

FC Ifeanyi Ubah defender Adeleye Aniyikaye has expressed optimism that the big spenders still have a realistic chance of winning the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title at the end of the 2016 campaign.

The Anambra Warriors are third on the log with 52 points, two points below leaders Wikki Tourists.

Adeleye believes that the future matches are very crucial for all the teams in their efforts to either avoid relegation or win the title.

“The title race is very much open and any of the top six teams can turn champions this season owing to the strong competition being witnessed in the league,” Aniyikaye told Goal.

“FC Ifeanyi Ubah is doing great so far since the players are very dedicated and focused on improving the team.

“We have a realistic chance of taking the title but what we are all aiming at first is accumulating as many points and goals as possible so that we can maximize our chances.”

The Nnewi-based outfit next face a tough away fixture against struggling Abia Warriors.
