The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADSN) Lagos State Council has held a Triennial conference at Ijegun, Lagos.
The Three-Day conference featured special Jumat service and presentation of reports by all branches in the state.
President of the ADSN, Alhaji AbdulRafiu Sanni said the conference was meant to assess the progress of the society’s activities and how to strategise for the future.
Alhaji Sanni said: “Our job is to supervise each branch. At the end of the three years tenure, each branch will account for what they have done over the years and report back to the council during the triennial conference.
“After that, there will be a special thanksgiving from the branches celebrating what Allah has done for them. After this, an election for new executives of each branch was conducted.”
ADSN National Secretary, Alhaji Iskeel Yusuf enjoined the newly-elected executives to “continuing form where the previous administration stopped.
“The out-going administration was able to build the Ansar-Ud-Deen secretariat. As we speak, another construction which would generate revenue for the society is ongoing. So, we are expecting the new executives to perform better. This is the yard stick in which we are going to use to measure their success for the next three years,” he said
ADSN Lagos Council Chairman, Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Salaudeen thanked Allah for the successful tenure of various officials at the branch level.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank God for the privilege given to them to serve. They did their part and came out successfully. We believe that this new tenure will be much better,” he said.
