Apatira gives account of stewardship

The Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Dr Ahmed Apatira has given account his stewardship.

Apatira reeled out his achievements over the years.

He said his administration has strived to fulfil commitment to improving the lives of the community members.

He stated that the council achieved sustainable development in education, empowerment and health, among others.

Speaking on the projects his administration embarked on, he mentioned road reconstruction, rehabilitation and repair, reconstruction of Itire-Ikate Customary Court, renovation of the council secretariat; renovation of Duro-Oyedoyin Primary School and Annual Medical Outreach amongst others.

He, however, acknowledged that there is still much work to be done.

“Our commitment to serve the people remains unwavering; we are determined to build on these accomplishments to take our council to greater heights,” he said.

Apatira expressed his gratitude to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Itire-Ikate Leaders’ Forum, the executive, management and legislative arm for their unwavering support and trust.

“Our achievements would not have been possible without your active participation and encouragement.Together, let us continue on this journey of progress and prosperity for our beloved LCDA,” he said.
