The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has unearthed plans by some agents of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stage a protest in Abuja today.
APC Edo State Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, in a statement yesterday in Abuja, alerted security agencies as well as the Army to the protest.

He alleged that the planned protest was to influence proceedings at the Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja.
