An aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Suru Avoseh, at the weekend declared his intention to contest the chairman of Badagry Local Government in Lagos State.
The event held in Badagry was attended by the Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Ibrahim Layode and the lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency 1 in the House of Assembly, Bonu Solomon.
Avoseh declared his readiness to take over the mantle of leadership from Olusegun Onilude, the incumbent chairman of Badagry Local Government.

He said the majority of political leaders in Badagry supported his ambition.
Avoseh said he would use the experience he had acquired over the years to drive development across the local government for the benefit of all.
Layode said APC leaders at the state level had instructed him, along with other key stakeholders, to mobilise support for Avoseh’s chairmanship bid.
Solomon urged Badagry leaders and residents to back Avoseh’s candidacy for the progress of the local government.
