APC council sensitises voters

ALL Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council is to embark on a nationwide awareness campaign for voter registration and collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).

This comes as Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set June 30 as deadline for Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).

The council said the campaign was important to ensure that Nigerians, who have attained 18 years and those who have not participated in the exercise, carry out their civic responsibilities in the 2023 elections.

A statement by Director-General Seyi Bamigbade decried the many uncollected PVCs across INEC facilities in the country, noting that the campaign would arouse the consciousness of Nigerians to participate in the elections.

Bamigbade hinted that the council would set up working committees in the 36 states to drive the awareness campaign.

He urged Nigerians to unite and be a part of the process.
