APC to Oke: political tears no longer working

The Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, yesterday said the people can no longer be deceived by political tears.

Adetimehin was reacting to a report that the Alliance for Democracy (AD) governorship candidate, Olusola Oke, wept over the deplorable state of roads in Epe, Bolorunduro, Ondo East Local Government.

Adetimehin said: “Oke’s political gimmick can no longer work in our dear sunshine state. Our people are wiser and they are ready to vote for someone with integrity.

“One will wonder why Oke cried. We are no longer mourning and I believe we have enough resources on ground to turn the fortune of the state for better.

“If Oke could cry over abandoned road project in Epe, he needs to answer some questions being raised by his kinsmen on why he abandoned projects in Ilaje when he was representing the state on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board?

“Our people must reject AD and Oke because we don’t longer need a governor, who will be weeping without acting on critical issues.”
