Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and their rival in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) have continued to raise dust and tension over the comment of the leader of Integrity Group , Mr. Livingstone Wechie who recently claimed to have revised from falsehood to truth.
Before his purported sack on Thursday by some members of Integrity Group, Wechie was the Executive Director of The Integrity Friends for Truth and Peace Initiatives, popularly called “The Integrity Group.”
It was the group that petitioned the former governor of Rivers State, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and accused him of all sorts of administrative atrocities with the aim to stop him from being screened as the Minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
But Wechie’s sudden revisal from falsehood to the truth, following his bombshell interview he granted on the popular platform, Focus Nigeria, a programme of African Independent Television (AIT) where he shocked the world that he lied against Amaechi.
Governor Nyesom Wike, through his media aide Simeon Nwakaudu exonerated himself from knowing or working with Wechie, adding that his comment against the present administration shows that he is an agent of APC.
