She said this after leading a walk to mark Beijing Declaration against Gender Violence in Abuja, yesterday.
They were joined by Minister of Women Affairs, Suleiman Ibrahim, on the solidarity walk to National Assembly.
“Today, we march as a united force, raising our voices to demand end to violence against women and girls in Nigeria, Africa, and the globe.
“This is a cry for justice and action. We are in tune with Minister of Women Affairs and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, who was a lawmaker and supports women, more than ever as mother of the nation.
“We urge National Assembly to prioritise and enforce laws that protect daughters, sisters, and mothers,” she said.
