The APGA Media Warriors Forum has described the promise of holiday and internship job creation for secondary school pupils by the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Anambra State, Tony Nwoye, as unrealistic.
Its National Coordinator, Chinedu Obigwe, said the APC governorship candidate do not have the experience to make such promise, as he has no industrial and corporate sector experience.
Obigwe advised the people not to be fooled by empty and ill-conceived promises of desperate politicians pretending to have their interest at heart, whereas they are wolves waiting to devour the treasury.
He noted that Governor Willie Obiano has shown he is a visionary leader with his achievements in the agricultural sector.
According to Obigwe, Obiano knew a time will come when Nigeria will seek an alternative source of revenuue to oil, hence his administration tapped Anambra State agricultural potential, which is yielding fruit.
The national coordinator said Anambra rice, currently the delight of every household, is proof of Obiano’s worthy contribution in the agricultural sector.
He also said the governor attracted foreign and indigenous investors, creating jobs fin the process.
Obigwe noted that the November 18 election is a pay back time for his good work.
He hoped the people will not fall for the antics of the opposition and vote for somebody that does not have their interest at heart.
Obigwe noted that election period is a season of empty promises by the opposition and it will be political suicide for the people to vote for the trio of Osita Chidoka, Oseloka Obaze and Tony Nwoye because they have nothing to offer.
