The Artifacts Rescuers’ Association of Nigeria (ARAN) has elected officers to run the affairs of the association for three years. The officers were elected at the recently held AGM of the association.
Mr. Obalosa Bamidele Louis was unanimously elected president. A candidate for the position of president who stepped down for the newly elected president, Mr. Hyacinth Odu, was co-opted into the board of trustees of the association.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected president, Bamidele promised good leadership for the association, transparency and accountability.
He told members that his administration will focus on constitutional amendment as well as designing programmes to reward the past members who served members and those who are late.
Bamidele congratulated the new executives and expressed optimism that working with them as a team, the vision of ARAN will be achieved.
