Ex-Celtic hitman Frank McAvennie has tipped Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo to move to the English Premier League from the January transfer window because of his top-notch performance for Rangers since he joined them from Charlton Athletic in June 2019.
Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest in the versatile Glasgow Rangers midfielder who is valued in the region of 10 million pounds by the Scottish Premiership champions.
According to Football Insider, McAvennie stated: “I think he’s gone up a level this season. He seems to be a vital player for Rangers now.
“He’s very versatile and that would serve him well in the Premier League.
“I have said this for years, if an offer from the Premier League comes in, you take it. It doesn’t matter who it is, it changes your life money. No disrespect to Rangers, that’s just the way it is.
“Is he good enough for the Premier League? That’s a different question. Let’s see what happens in January.”
The 25-year-old Aribo will enter the final eighteen months of his contract with Rangers in January 2022.
