Ayoola said some voters allowed to vote were without cards and not accredited
He said, “Counting an individual voter three to four times was the norm and also the final result fraudulently manipulated for their preferred candidate. I witnessed open harassment and public bargaining and selling of votes to the highest bidder”.
“I tend to believe that the party leadership that opted for this option of open primaries meant well, however, it was shabby and executed in an unspeakable manner”
“The result of the screening was never out before we settled for the primaries election and the shifted date was never communicated except early in the morning of the election. I strongly believe that it was unfair to all the aspirants and their supporters because they committed to both the party and 2019 election”.
“I implore all affected individuals to handle their grievances with maturity and understanding and all the leaders at the helm of affairs to ensure that things are well planned, monitored and executed in a more organize manners in the near future. I am certain that our party can retain its formidable status if truly we stay the course and ensure equity in decision-making and execution”.
