Aspirant gives out free 300 JAMB forms

An aspirant for House of Representatives in Surulere, Lagos, Lanre Okunlola, has distributed 300 free JAMB forms to students.

The event was held at Whiteleys  Centre, Aguda.

Okunlola said the distribution of the forms was aimed at encouraging students to further their studies and make their dreams a reality.

He added that the gesture will give the students opportunity to secure the future they have always hoped for.

Basic education, he said, should be made free and accessible for all because education is the bedrock to building a prosperous country.  Okunlola urged individuals and private sectors to join hands with the government to revamp the educational sector.

He urged the youth to desist from social vices that may affect their purposes in life.

He pointed out that adequate feedbacks and counselling, if appropriately directed can curb crimes in the society.

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Surulere led by Chief Tayo Adenekan praised Okunlola for giving the student opportunity to further their education.

They urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the gesture.

The beneficiaries promised to study hard and come with good grades.
