The Charity Ladies Club Umutu (CLC) dedicated to supporting the Umutu community of Umutu Local Government Area in Delta State, has announced career guidance initiative for youths as part of their end-of-year party and annual charity program.
The event scheduled for December 27, in Umutu town, will focus on community outreach, support and helping the community youths to discover the gifts and talents toward choosing career in law and other professions.
According to the Club’s Spokesperson, Ugo Michaels, the vision of the club is to make impact in their native community, saying, “it’s our way of giving back to the community where we were born and raised up, in order to foster unity and collaboration of our womenfolk”, she said.

She said the club has approved some initiatives that will unleash the creative talents of the youths and inspire them to greater heights in their educational and career pursuits.
There will be a graduation to honour 11 trainees who have completed their programs at the Delta State Skills Acquisition Center, Umutu.
Another important activity is the payment of West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees for 10 students, ensuring they can continue their education without financial barriers.
