Protest as Edo govt demolishes another kidnappers’ den

Residents of Iyowa community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State have staged a peaceful protest over incessant kidnappings in the area.

The protesters blocked Benin-Akure Highway for several hours, demanding an end to kidnapping for ransom in the locality.

Some of the residents said a husband and wife were abducted last Saturday and a ransom of N50million was demanded.

Operatives of the Edo State Special Security Squad have arrested two suspected kidnappers, who were negotiating a ransom of N500million for the release of one of their victims.

The suspects, Anthony Ebimienwei and Luke Disemoh had earlier collected N30milion for the release of Blessing Nosa.

The operational base of the kidnappers located in Egbai community, Ovia North-East Local Government, has been demolished.

Coordinator of the Edo State Security Squad, Noah Idemudia, said dismantling of the hideout was in line with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s directive to adopt offensive security tactics.

He added: “These individuals have been in this trade for some time, and it is unfortunate. Let this serve as a clear warning: under Governor Okpebholo’s watch, Edo State is not a safe haven for kidnappers or criminals.”

The Okaighele (youth leader) of Egbai community, Aghaku Ihanuwaze, hailed Governor Okpebholo for “a courageous and long-overdue intervention.”

“This hideout has been a source of fear for our community,” the youth leader noted. “We thank Governor Okpebholo for acting swiftly and for prioritising the safety of our people.”

  • Lagos APC to Obi: stop politicising terrorism

Lagos APC to Obi: stop politicising terrorism

Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the latest reckless theatrics of Mr Peter Obi, ‘’who has shamelessly inserted himself into the ongoing judicial process involving Nnamdi Kanu, merely to claw back relevance in a political space that has long moved past him.’’

The party in statement yesterday by its spokesman Seye Oladejo in Ogba, Lagos, said: ‘’Obi’s misguided attempt to ‘tackle’ the Federal Government and reject a valid court ruling is nothing more than the cry of a man whose political career is in its last embarrassing throes. He is desperately fishing in troubled waters, hoping to harvest sympathy that the Nigerian people have already denied him at the polls.’’

Oladejo said only a man steeped in political confusion could refuse to condemn IPOB’s murderous activities, yet preached morality to the Nigerian state.

He noted that only a man drowning in irrelevance would pretend to care about justice, while ignoring the innocent citizens maimed, slaughtered, beheaded, extorted and silenced under the reign of terror unleashed by IPOB militants.

The Lagos APC spokesman said Peter Obi’s sudden moral awakening was fraudulent, his selective outrage was insulting and his attempt to dress up terrorism in the garb of sentiment was dangerous.

The statement added: ‘’The salient question that Peter Obi must answer is simple: Why the inconsistency in his position? How does he condemn Boko Haram and their ilk wholeheartedly in one breath, only to embrace, defend and rationalise IPOB in another?

‘’This two-faced political morality exposes his deep-seated bias, his hollow rhetoric and his desperate ambition disguised as compassion.

‘’We strongly recommend that Obi drops his ethnic blinders, read the judgement without emotions, and in good conscience return to Nigerians with the truth about his sincerity and his innermost desires for the nation he claims he wants to lead.

‘’There is nothing wrong in boldly admitting he is a regional champion committed to defending “his own”-  for good or for bad.

What is wrong, however, is deceiving Nigerians with feigned neutrality and hypocritical sermonising.

‘’If Obi truly believes his own words, let him first explain: Why he maintained criminal silence when the Southeast burned. Why he could not condemn IPOB even once with clarity or courage. Why he continually plays both sides of the fence- leader by day, sympathiser by night.’’

Oladejo said Obi’s rant was a pathetic audition for 2027 – another failed attempt to resurrect a political project ‘’that is now beyond resuscitation.’’

‘’He can rant from morning till night; national security will never be placed in the fragile hands of sentimentalists, who only speak when their political calculators beep. Nigeria will not negotiate its sovereignty to please a man battling political menopause.

‘’It is laughable- almost tragic – that Obi has found courage only at a time when Kanu’s fate is tied to a lawful judicial process. Where was this courage when IPOB criminals turned markets into war zones, instilled fear in school children and shut down the economic lifeline of his region every Monday? His cowardice then disqualifies him from pontificating now,’’ Oladejo further said.

He noted that before Obi lectured Nigeria on justice, he should explain: The disintegration of his political movement. The desertion of his supporters and the slow but steady collapse of his overhyped political myth.

‘’Obi is not fighting for justice. He is fighting for visibility. He is fighting for political oxygen.

He is fighting to avoid total oblivion.

    ‘’Nigerians must be alert to this dangerous brand of free-style politics – the type that seeks the destruction of what you cannot have;

the type that weaponises ethnic sentiments, insecurity and national trauma just to stay politically-relevant.

‘’It will be most unfortunate if this, in the fullness of time, becomes a classic example of: ‘Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are.’

    ‘’Nigeria’s national security is non-negotiable.

Judicial processes must never be dictated by politicians in need of headlines.

‘’The Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to handle matters of treason, terrorism and national stability with firmness, maturity and constitutional authority.

‘’Lagos APC urges Nigerians to treat Obi’s statement as what it is: a self-serving cry from a man watching his political walls collapse.

‘’Nigeria must not and will not be bullied by the theatrics of a desperate politician,‘’ statement said.

  • ‘Change your operational tactics’

    ‘Change your operational tactics’

A former lawmaker in Osun State House of Assembly, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has admonished Service Chiefs to change their operational tactics to tackle insecurity.

Oyintiloye in a statement yesterday in Osogbo, Osun State capital, noted that the security chiefs acted swiftly to protect Nigerians amid rising security challenges ravaging the country.

The chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) said recent killings and abductions of innocent Nigerians by terrorists in Kwara, Kebbi, Niger and other parts of the country were becoming unbearable.

He said: “The recent killings and abductions of worshippers and students have thrown many families into distress and made the country appear largely unsafe.

“I want to passionately appeal to the Service Chiefs to do everything within their power to rescue the abducted children and also stop the senseless killings by the terrorists across the country. Many communities have been made desolate due to the mass displacement of people and killings.

“Parents, families and relatives are currently in a state of devastation due to violence, mass abductions, especially of school children, and killings by the terrorists.

“If it means the Service Chiefs changing their operational tactics to get things right, they should do so without hesitation because Nigeria is bleeding and time is running out,” he said.

Oyintiloye also said that there was no doubt that the security agencies were working hard to keep Nigeria safe.

He, however, said the spate of killings and abductions of school children in the past few days called for serious concern and a change in security operational strategies.

The APC chieftain also called on President Tinubu and the National Security Adviser (NSA) , Nuhu Ribadu, to discreetly identify those who might be sabotaging the efforts of the military in the fight against terrorism and prosecute such persons.

“The President and the NSA should discreetly identify those sabotaging the efforts of the military in protecting Nigerians for prosecution.

“Those saboteurs within the system must be identified and flushed out before they do more damage. There are distressing reports suggesting internal sabotage and external collaboration. This must be decisively dealt with.

“The way and manner in which the efforts of the military are being thwarted calls for serious concern and should be investigated,” he said.

Oyintiloye, who commended the President for his efforts to protect the country, said Nigeria had the capacity to win the war against terrorism with the support of all stakeholders.

  • Group seeks cancellation of new FUOYE VC’s appointment

Group seeks cancellation of new FUOYE VC’s appointment

A Civil Society Organisation, the Public Accountability Project of Nigeria (PAPN), has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, to cancel the recent appointment of the Vice Chancellor–designate of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof. Joshua Ogunwole.

The group in a statement issued by the Secretary, Mr. Kolawole Abe, alleged that the selection process that produced Prof. Ogunwole was “marred by irregularities and driven by selfish interests.”

It accused the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, and the Chairman of the FUOYE Governing Council, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, of manipulating the process in favour of Prof. Ogunwole.

The body urged President Tinubu and Speaker Abbas to launch a thorough investigation into the affairs of FUOYE, its leadership and the VC selection exercise.

It claimed petitions and allegations had trailed the outgoing VC and the Council Chairman for months, noting that it would be unjust for the government to ignore claims bordering on corruption, unethical behaviour and violations of due process.

The group stressed that leadership in a federal institution must set exemplary standards, warning that FUOYE “must not be allowed to sink into a culture of corruption.”

Calling for a credible and transparent selection process, PAPN urged President Tinubu to mandate the Federal Ministry of Education led by Dr. Tunji Alausa to uphold integrity and competence above favouritism.

It warned that allowing a flawed process to stand would only encourage deeper corruption and administrative failures, noting that a VC who emerged through manipulation could compromise the quality of education and jeopardise the future of students.

“The presidency will be putting the future of our youths and the nation at risk if this appointment is allowed to stand,” the group said.

Oyo boosts health centres with phones

Oyo State Government, through First Health Dynamic Synergy International Ltd, has given phones to 66 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs).

The project, which was funded by the state government, was part of its initiative to upgrade the 66 PHCs.

Speaking in Ibadan during the presentation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm, Prof. Temitope Alonge, said the phones would enable the PHCs to communicate with one another and also allow them for about three to four calls at a time.

Alonge, former Chief Medical Director (CMD) at University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, said PHCs were the nearest to the people, ‘’and it’s important for people to have benefits of good health care services, which should be a priority.’’

He added: “But beyond this, it also provides an opportunity for disease surveillance, because if you have a problem somewhere, in a particular local government, then they can quickly communicate and report to the appropriate authorities.’’

“We hope during this dry season, when the risk of Lassa fever is going to be on the increase, they will utilise this quickly to make reportage, to avoid the disaster we had in the past.

“After the assessment of the primary health care centres in 2003, it was apparent that there were a lot of issues. But we were able to resolve them through a meeting that evaluated the reports that were provided.

“This decoder’s meeting gave back to the current upgrade. I suggested that we needed to have a set of criteria for the upgrade, and the set of criteria were pretty straightforward. The governor did not see anything wrong with them.”

  • ‘New tax law will enhance fiscal discipline’

‘New tax law will enhance fiscal discipline’

Lagos State Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Bode Agoro, has said understanding of the new tax law by the citizens would enhance fiscal discipline.

He spoke at the 2025 edition of Public Procurement Summit with the theme: ‘Understanding the Impact of the New Tax Law on the Procurement of Goods, Works, and Services’, organised by the

state government at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja.

Delivering his goodwill message, Agoro, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, Mrs. Oyegbola Sunkanmi, said: ‘’As public officers, it is imperative to understand the implications of the new tax reforms—particularly as they relate to digital compliance, tax registration and cost management in the execution of government projects.’’

He noted that an understanding of the new tax law would not only improve compliance, but also enhance fiscal discipline, reduce waste and ensure better value-for-money outcomes in public spending.

Agoro said compliance with tax and procurement laws was not optional, but a duty, adding that synergy between both frameworks was vital for achieving the state’s objectives of sustainable revenue growth and prudent resource management.

He urged public servants to continue upholding the highest standard of integrity, fairness and accountability in the discharge of their duties.

“Every officer involved in procurement must be guided by professionalism and commitment to the rules and procedures established under the Lagos State Public Procurement Law,” he said.

The Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Procurement, Mr. Samuel Apata, said lawmakers recognised effective procurement practices as key to achieving sustainable development and delivering quality services to citizens.

He said the assembly remained committed to supporting initiatives that would promote best practices, compliance and value-for-money in government contracting.

Finance Commissioner Mr. Oluyomi Abayomi, represented by Mrs. Bisola Dina of the State Treasury Office, described the newly-enacted tax reform as one of the most comprehensive in recent years, with far-reaching implications for public and private institutions.

He hailed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his exemplary leadership, under which Lagos State was recently recognised as ‘Best in Procurement Practice in Africa’ at the 2025 Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Ope George, commended the agency for upholding integrity and transparency in public resource management.

Director-General, Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, Mr. Fatai Onafowote, said the objective of the summit was to provide a platform for policy makers, procurement professionals, tax experts and industry stakeholders to engage in robust discussions on the implications of the new tax reforms and to explore strategies that would ensure compliance, while maintaining efficiency and value-for-money in government contracting.

The Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Kogi State, Ehimoni Joshua, lauded Lagos State Government for organising the summit and called for continued harmonisation of procurement practices, to reinforce the role of procurement as a tool for economic stability, transparency and national development.

The Chairman, Presidential Task Force on Tax Reform, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, who joined the event online, said tax reform was designed to make business operations easier, particularly by providing exemptions to support the growth of small businesses.

Also speaking virtually, Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) (Federal), Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, said BPP was proud to collaborate with Lagos State and assured it of continued partnership.

The event was attended by top government functionaries, heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, delegates from other states’ Bureaus of Public Procurement led by the chairman, Forum of DGs of Public Procurement, as well as other speakers and panellists.

Nigeria won’t disintegrate, First Lady assures citizens

    • We should partner with other nations to tackle insecurity, say Deputy Speaker Kalu, cleric

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has said Nigeria will not disintegrate but remain one and indivisible entity to overcome its challenges.

Mrs. Tinubu spoke yesterday at the thanksgiving service for the investiture and presentation of Most Rev. Sunday Onuoha as Archbishop on Special Duties.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that during the event held at Methodist Unity Cathedral, Abuja, the First Lady was represented by the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite.

Mrs. Tinubu, who noted that the nation’s hope lies in the hands of God, urged fellow Nigerians to continue praying for the country, the Church, and God’s guidance.

The First Lady stressed that while Nigeria welcomes help from other countries, it would never be intimidated or become a disgraceful nation.

“Nigeria will not disintegrate. Nigeria will remain one indivisible entity. God will be with Nigeria.

“We shall celebrate the coming Christmas in peace and in joy, and it shall be well with Nigeria.

“I wish the Archbishop well in his new role,” she said.

Also, House of Representatives Deputy Spealer Benjamin Kalu said Nigeria needed foreign partnership to tackle its security challenges.

The lawmaker expressed support for foreign partnerships in addressing insecurity in the country

According to him, the government can work with international allies to tackle security challenges without compromising the nation’s sovereignty.

“The President is a democrat and is open to partnerships that will benefit the country,” he said.

Kalu also emphasised the importance of stakeholders’ engagement in addressing the country’s challenges.

The Deputy Speaker noted that the Church plays a vital role in promoting peace, unity, and progress.

He highlighted the need for collaboration between the government and faith-based organisations in building a more secured nation.

“We cannot build a nation without having stakeholders on the table.

“The Church must bring messages of hope, peace, and unity to inspire progress and nation-building,” Kalu said.

The Deputy Speaker praised Archbishop Onuoha for his commitment to peacebuilding and ability to bridge the gap between the state and faith communities.

“The man who was decorated as Archbishop today has shown that being in the church does not mean turning your back to the states. He has been the man anchoring such conversation,”

Addressing reporters after the thanksgiving, Archbishop Onuoha said Nigeria needs assistance from all quarters to overcome its challenges, particularly insecurity.

The cleric said the country’s situation is dire, adding that it requires collective efforts to address the issues.

Onuoha added that Nigerians should not live in denial about the country’s challenges, particularly insecurity.

“We need help. If somebody thinks we don’t need help, that person is in denial.

“Seeking help in security matters is no different from seeking financial assistance or other forms of support,” he said.

The Archbishop called for an end to the blame game and demonisation of others.

The cleric stressed that the loss of a human life is a tragedy that transcends religious and ethnic divides.

He promised to work with the Church and other stakeholders to promote peace and unity across Nigeria.

Court verdict clarifies status of Win homes claimson Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project

    • Case dismissed for lacking in merit

A Federal High Court ruling has thrown out the claims put forward by the Chief Executive Officer of Winhomes Global Services Limited, Mrs. Stella Ifeoma Okengwu, over the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project.

The court dismissed her suit after finding that her allegations were inconsistent with the evidence she submitted.

Mrs. Okengwu had publicly accused the Federal Government and Works Minister David Umahi of diverting the highway route into what she called a $250 million Winhomes residential estate in Okun Ajah, Lagos.

She repeatedly claimed that the project encroached on her company’s development, portraying the site as an active investment hub.

Government official said what Winhomes presented as a “residential development” was, in reality, a gatehouse erected on an otherwise undeveloped parcel of land.

The court said its filings revealed that Winhomes had long relinquished ownership of the land at the centre of the dispute. In her affidavit before the Federal High Court, Mrs. Okengwu affirmed that Winhomes had sold the property to third parties, meaning the company no longer possessed any legal interest in the land.

In a statement yesterday, the Special Adviser to the Minister on Media, Uchenna Orji, said the court relied on the affidavits in striking out the suit.

Ruling on preliminary objections, the court held that Mrs. Okengwu and Winhomes lacked the legal standing to institute the action, having divested their interest in the land.

The court also held that no reasonable cause of action was disclosed against the defendants.

The judge held that the issues raised on land use and alleged trespass do not fall within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court, as stipulated under Section 251 of the 1999 Constitution.

The ruling contradicts months of public commentary in which Mrs. Okengwu alleged victimisation, misuse of power, and deliberate targeting of her business interests.

According to the Works Ministry, these allegations were not only unsupported by facts but also contradicted Mrs. Okengwu’s sworn statements.

The ministry’s, officials maintained that the case has now exposed the “mendacious and unfounded” nature of the claims, which they said were circulated widely in the media with the effect of misleading the public and attempting to cast the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project in a negative light.

“It has become clear that the CEO of Winhomes Global Services has been sponsoring misleading narratives to create fear among investors and discredit the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope road infrastructure programme,” Orji said.

The ministry urged members of the public to disregard Mrs. Okengwu’s online statements and commentary on the Minister of Works and the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project.

It added that the court’s findings provided the accurate legal and factual position on the matter.

HID Awolowo Foundation honours Segun Awolowo, readjusts programme

    • Tinubu, Abiodun, Makinde, Olawepo-Hashim mourn

The HID Awolowo Foundation has announced an adjustment to the format of its forthcoming National Dialogue on Women in Politics: 30 Years After Beijing, scheduled for tomorrow.

The event will now hold, same day, in a hybrid format, accommodating in-person and virtual participation.

A statement at the weekend by the foundation said the adjustment has become necessary following the tragic passing of the grandson of the late Premier of the defunct Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, and his jewel of inestimable value, Chief (Mrs.) Hannah Idowu Dideolu (H.I.D.) Awolowo.

The foundation noted that the death of the former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has cast a pall of grief over the Awolowo family and the broader community, which holds the legacy of the patriarch and matriarch in deep reverence.

According to the foundation, participants who can attend physically are invited to the Efunyola  Hall in Ikenne, Ogun State, while others are encouraged to join the proceedings online.

The foundation said this would ensure a broad engagement, despite recent developments.

The board of the foundation, in acknowledging this moment of mourning, also resolved that a special segment of the dialogue would be devoted to honouring the memory of the departed, celebrating his contributions and affirming the enduring values of service, integrity, and public-spirited leadership that define the Awolowo heritage.

Despite the sorrow that frames this adjustment, the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining national conversations on women’s political empowerment—an area of advocacy to which Chief (Mrs.) HID Awolowo dedicated much of her life.

Segun, as he was fondly called, like his late father, was the grandson of the late statesman and nationalist, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

He died on November 20. He was 62.

In a statement announcing his demise, the family described him as “the world’s most phenomenal husband, father, and grandfather — steady, wise, endlessly loving, and the constant anchor of our family. A painfully loyal servant to Nigeria, he dedicated his life to the service of his country with vision, integrity, passion, and unwavering commitment. He was a true family man, a great friend, a wonderful servant of God, and a deeply beautiful human being”.

Also,President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), and a presidential hopeful and businessman, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim,  expressed sadness over the demise of the scion of the Awolowo dynasty.

The President said Nigeria has lost a distinguished son.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Segun Awolowo’s demise as “unfortunate and a tragic blow, not only to the Awolowo family but also to the entire country”.

He noted that the deceased upheld the values and legacy of the illustrious Awolowo lineage.

“Segun exemplified the Awolowo pedigree in appearance, character and demeanour. Like his grandfather, he was a lawyer committed to defending truth and justice,” the President said.

He extended his condolences to Segun Awolowo’s widow, children, and mother, Alhaja Abah Folawiyo, as well as to the wider Awolowo family.

He also commiserated with the government and people of Ogun State, the entire Southwest and Nigerians across the country, describing the death as a “painful loss”.

Governor Abiodun said: “It is extremely hard to process the news that Segun Awolowo Jr. is gone, but we submit unreservedly to the decision of the Almighty God, who has called him into His bosom.

“We are deeply heartbroken, but we will take consolation in the exemplary great lessons his life taught us, for he was such a jolly good fellow.

“Born two months after his father’s death, Awolowo Jr. was acquainted with grief from childhood, but he rose above the challenges and became an icon in his own right…”

Also, Governor Makinde described the death of Segun Awolowo as painful and a sad loss to Nigeria.

The Oyo State governor condoled with the Chairman of the African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) PLC, publishers of the Tribune titles, Dr. Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu, the entire Awolowo family and the management of Tribune Newspapers.

He described Segun Awolowo as a great mind and a great ambassador of the Awolowo family, who made good marks everywhere he went.

Makinde prayed to God to grant repose to the soul of the deceased.

Also, a presidential hopeful and businessman, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has paid a moving tribute to the late Segun Awolowo.

In an emotional statement, titled: “Good Night My Brother and Friend, Segun Awolowo,” Olawepo-Hashim said news of Awolowo’s passing reached him while he was in Madrid, Spain.

The businessman and politician said it left him “shocked and unsettled”.

He explained that the reports on Awolowo’s demise initially came in quietly, prompting him to contact close associates for confirmation.

Olawepo-Hashim said his first call was to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, a mutual friend of more than two decades.

Still uncertain, the presidential hopeful said he contacted a businessman, Terry Waya, who confirmed the tragic news.

According to him, in the attempts to authenticate the sad news, he tried to contact members of the Awolowo family, including Funke Awolowo, and later spoke with the Managing Director of Tribune Newspapers, Mr. Edward Dickson, who further validated the loss.

Olawepo-Hashim described the late Segun Awolowo as part of a close-knit circle of Abuja friends — an inner circle that spanned 26 years and included AbdulRazaq, Waya, and the late Abdul Kokori.

The businessman recalled visiting Awolowo in Abuja a few months earlier, where he found him lively and full of plans, even proudly introducing him to his senior management team.

In what he considered a final parting charge, Awolowo had told him: “Gbenga, please, keep standing for Nigeria. Among all of us, you’re the one I know has the capacity to stand.”

Olawepo-Hashim also described the late Segun Awolowo as “a rare gem, humble, thoughtful, and deeply patriotic” who distinguished himself through hard work, public service, and a strong personal ethic, far beyond the weight of his famous surname.

The presidential hopeful recalled that their friendship was grounded in deep conversations and moments of prayer, which Awolowo always valued.

“I am grateful for the gift of friendship we shared and pained that it ended too soon,” he wrote.

In a solemn farewell to Segun Awolowo, the businessman wrote: “Good night, my brother and friend. Rest well, Segun.”
