Ex Ajimobi’s aide Adedutan declares support for Makinde

Former Commissioner for Health during the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s administration Dr. Azeez Adedutan has declared support for Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde‘s reelection bid.

He said Makinde, who is seeking reelection, remains the best man that can move the State forward considering his performance out of the leading three governorship candidates he said.

Speaking in Ibadan at a briefing, Adedutan described the All Progressives Congress(APC) primary that produced Senator Teslim Folarin as governorship candidate as unacceptable, saying nothing was done to bring back aggrieved party members.

Adeduntan contested the APC governorship primary, which the three-term Oyo Senator won.

He said: “I’ve never seen what happened in APC in the last nine months of the primary since I joined politics.

“To forestall accusations of anti-party activities and my unwavering commitment to truth, justice, equity and fair play, and after full consultations with my supporters throughout the 33 local governments of the state, I Azeez Popoola Adedutan, the Osi Bashorun of Ibadan land hereby resigns my membership of APC effective and defect to PDP to support my brother Engr. Makinde for a well-deserved second term and Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria.

“My foray into politics was a child of circumstance specifically driven to serve and help in bringing good governance to Oyo state primarily and Nigeria, secondarily, since all politics are local as is done in the USA and another civilized world.

“This was more so when Oyo State became notorious for brigandage with hoodlums and NURTW members prowling Oyo State roads and streets and the state became unruly and a “war zone in 2011.”

But Oyo APC Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, when contacted described Adedutan as a paperweight politician who has no electoral value.

    ‘Tinubu most qualified for presidency’

Yoruba Leaders of Thought has said the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the most qualified of all candidates.

Speaking during a conference in Lagos, the convener of the group, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, said Tinubu has contributed immensely to the country’s economic development, promoting democracy, and good governance.

The interactive session, Olusi said, was to unite Yoruba leaders who believe in the oneness of Nigeria based on equity, fairness and justice.

“When compared to others in the race for the presidency of Nigeria in 2023, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stands head and shoulder above the rest. He is the most prepared, the most suitable in terms of competence, character, capacity and the most humane to lead Nigeria to an enviable prosperous status among the comity of nations in the 21st century.

“We commended leaders of the APC for encouraging the spirit of belongingness and national unity by honouring the age-long desire of Nigerians for power shift, the principle which led to the overwhelming emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate.

“We commend the present and founding fathers of APC for building the party into a formidable vehicle for winning elections. But it must transform from a mere vehicle for attaining electoral victories to an organization that can confidently chart and execute a development path for Nigeria.

They appealed to Nigerians to keep a date with Tinubu on February 25 to drive the shared prosperity that his presidency is bound to bring to Nigeria.

Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, appreciated the leaders for what he called their labour of love.

While addressing them in Yoruba, Tinbu noted that the 2023 Presidency was for all of them and other Nigerians, saying “Eyinlokan,” meaning it is your turn.

He charged them to reach for their PVCs and ensure they vote on Saturday so they can herald the change envisaged for the country.

The humour merchant’s comment earned him backlashes from Tonto’s fans after it went viral on social media.

There won’t be untouchables under Tinubu, APC group assures

South-South Movement for Tinubu/Shettima Ticket (SSMTS) has assured there won’t be untouchables under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led –government.

It stated every public office holder will be put into check and control for the interest of the people.

The National Coordinator for SSMTS, Comrade Eyengho Besidone, made this known on Monday in Warri while addressing newsmen as they wrap up entire campaign activities.

He said: “Our principal is bold and courageous hence as a President he won’t be a pushover. In a trying time like this, we need a brave President to take the lead that is exactly what Tinubu symbolises.

“Tinubu did not at any time claim to be a monopoly of knowledge, The reason he openly displayed his rare critical leadership skills during the Chatham house interview, wherein he promised Nigerians that he will draft an excellent team of professionals to help proffer solutions to the Nigeria Mirage of problem.

“The reason all sitting and former Governors of the 36 States of Nigeria have properties and mansions in Lagos, including his contenders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour party (LP) is that Tinubu did not only develop and establish the Lagos master plan and consistently ensure it is followed to the later by all successive governments after him, but these politicians also would not have seen Lagos as their haven.

“We need someone who will not be hesitant to take bold and decisive decisions especially as it concerns the National interest of the Nigeria populist on Security, and Economy/Monetary policies, he will be able to challenge those cartels entrenched in the fuel subsidy reaping off our commonwealth through the scam called a subsidy.

“Asiwaju has over the years promised to tackle restructuring to strengthen the component units of the Nigeria Federation, which will grow according to their potential as well as issues of recurring decimal vis- -vis state police, resource control, etc.

“Asiwaju is the true Nigeria that can be best described as a UNIFIER, he is not a religious bigot like the PDP candidate, who speaks of his religion alone, or the LP candidate who runs from one church of worship to the other seeking sympathy.

“Leadership is by antecedence and experience. He cannot be seen to be a fanatic but a cosmopolitan, he can further be described “on a lighter note as (MTN) everywhere you go.

“Our respected principal believed in the growth of manpower development, he has made people across the length and breadth of Nigeria as can be seen in the numerous testimonies from supporters like Joe Igbokwe, Nnamani, etc.

“Why other presidential candidates especially (Atiku and Obi) are in a self-serving sycophantic praise singing of the federal government’s anti-people failed and disgraceful CBN monetary policy (Naira re-design), it is only our principal who in his usual vocal style come out publicly to challenge the presidency and stay with the people by proffering solution through a letter transmitted to the CBN, if implemented will ease the suffering of millions of Nigerians who could not gain access to their hard-earned cash from the bank.

“ Importantly as it is, our Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not disturbed by the Naira Redesign, he worries that the masses are gravely affected. The shout and alarm are rooted in his usual character as a champion of the commoners as exemplified in his NADECO and the Military junta struggles. Perhaps, vote buying is not peculiar to any party or candidate, for example, every stakeholder (INEC, Police, Military, para, military, observers, etc.) in the polity, requires finance (Cash) to ensure the smooth execution of their planning and logistic for the polls. Why does the so-called cabal think they are targeting our Principal (Tinubu)?

“They are of no consequences, these are the cabal who couldn’t influence the outcome of the APC primary, where the delegates were all known to them and the numbers were reasonably small, they shall remain inconsequential in the general election where well over 93.46 million voters will be the pivotal factors.

“We wish to audaciously state that the PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is up for a self-serving mission of coming to sell our national assets to his families, friends, and cronies. He is coming to sell those national assets remaining in Nigeria, that escaped him in 1999-2007 e.g., NNPC-LTD, NPA, and other viable National assets that our candidate intends to transform into profit generation for the best interest of the Nigerian State.

“Atiku’s desperation to become President this time is nonetheless for self-enrichment and not out of patriotic zeal. While his counterpart Mr. Peter Obi of the LP is capitalising on the ignorance of some few Nigerians, otherwise he should have set Anambra on the path of greatness by ensuring sustainable infrastructural institutions, such that successive governments can then build on it as can be seen in Lagos state.

“Instead, we hear H.E Soludo, Chukwuma complained that the environment of Anambra state is his number one existential threat other than security as over 40% of Anambra land is under threat of erosion and Anambra is now the Erosion capital of Nigeria. Meanwhile, Tinubu was able to salvage the entire Lagos Island from the threat of Ocean Surge which would have taken many lives, The question is what did Peter Obi do to bring the necessary succour to the good people of Anambra while as Governor of that great state for eight years?”

    What is Energy Supply?

According to Definitions.net, Energy supply “is the delivery of fuels or
transformed fuels to point of consumption, and encompasses the
extraction, transmission, generation, distribution and storage of fuels”.
Energy supply is sometimes referred to as energy flow.

Energy supply can also be defined as the “quantity of energy available
that suppliers can provide to end users”.

    Sources of Energy Supply

There are primary and renewable energy sources.
Primary sources include nuclear energy, and fossil energy such as oil,
    coal and natural gas.
Renewable energy sources include wind, solar, geothermal and
    hydropower.

What percentage do wind and solar contribute to global energy
    supply?

Enerdata World Energy and Climate Statistics Yearbook 2022 shares
data on how the share of wind and solar has risen constantly and has
reached 10.7% of the global energy supply.

“In 2021, renewable power generation continued to increase at a steady
pace (+16% for wind and +23% for solar), as global renewable
installations remained dynamic. Despite the surge in thermal –
especially coal-fired – power generation in a context of global economic
recovery and revived electricity demand, the share of wind and solar in
the global power mix increased again in 2021 to 10.7%, i.e., +8.4 pts
more than in 2010,” the report read.

The BP Statistical Review of World Energy 2022 also showed that in
2021, Wind and solar reached a 10.2% share of energy generation,
marking the first time wind and solar power exceeded more than 10% of
    global energy generation.

The World Economic Forum stated that Solar generation grew by 23% in
2021, while wind generation increased by 14%.

    Rating

False – Wind and solar make up more than 4% of the global energy
supply as recent global energy supply data shows that wind and solar
generate more than 10% of the global energy supply, and their energy
    generation has been increasing.

S3x more amazing with broke than rich guys – Toke Makinwa

Popular media personality Toke Makinwa has described s3x with ‘broke’ guys as amazing compared to the one with ‘rich’ guys.

The OAP, during her podcast with BBNaija star, Neo Mobor Akpofure on the ‘Bluezone Conversations’ argued most Nigerian men were incapable of providing s3xual pleasure for their women.

She however rated the s3xual performance of broke men higher than their rich counterparts.

“80% of Nigerian men do not know what it is to please a woman.

“The technicality, I can always tell what comes up next,” she said.

Describing the love-making process with a typical Nigerian, especially the rich ones, she explained: “You kiss, maybe they rub you on your neck.

“And then you see the guy sigh and say, ‘That was good’. What was good?”

“The wealthier the guy is especially the working Nigerian men, the worse the s3x is.”

Remarking on coitus with ‘broke’ guys, Makinwa stated: “I feel like broke men s3x is amazing because the guy has nothing to offer.

“When you’re sleeping with a broke guy, he gives you everything.

”But a guy that has money, will just come and be feeling like I’m a fine boy, you too you should be checking out fine boy.

”They don’t even foreplay, then they just get the deed done and it’s over.”

  • BBTitans: Biggie dummies with fake nominations

BBTitans: Biggie dummies with fake nominations

Biggie has ignited another twist into the ongoing BBTitans with a fake nomination process for possible eviction in week six.

On Day 37, the housemates filed into the diary room to nominate which pair they wanted up for eviction. What they did not know was Biggie’s shocking twist that will leave them all safe on Sunday.

One of the live show presenters, Ebuka had made it clear at the end of the fake nomination process to all that there will be no voting this week because the nominations are fake. This means all housemates are safe this week and there will be no eviction on Sunday.

Here’s how the housemates voted and why

    Khosicle: Royals and Juvone
Miracle OP, who represented Khosicle, explained to Biggie that they nominated The Royals because they are rarely nominated and Juvone because of the competition.
    Royals: Juiovle and Juvone
Tsatsii explained to Biggie that she and her partner are aware they have not been up for nominations and they need other pairs who are just like them so that they have a chance for survival.
    Juiovla: Thabana and Royals
Juicy Jay, the representative of the pair, explained to Biggie that they nominated Thabana because they had such a good run the previous week and therefore saw them as competition. As for the Royals, they were put up because they had not experienced being nominated.
    Blaqleng: Royals and Khosicle
Blaqboi echoed the thoughts of others before him as he explained to Biggie that Blaqleng nominated The Royals because they had never experienced the jitters of eviction. They nominated Khosicle, however, because they see them as a competition.
    Thabana: Khosicle and Kanaiva
According to Nana, Thabana’s reason for nominating Kaniva was because they are not close; while they nominated Khosicle because they do not feel comfortable having them in the house.

    Juvone: Royals and Kanaiva
Yvonne explained to Biggie that Juvone nominated The Royals because they had not experienced a week of being nominated. As for Kaniva, they were nominated because there is little connection between the members of both pairs.
    Kanaiva: Juvone and Khosicle
After giving the names of the pairs they want nominated for eviction, Blue Aiva explained that Kaniva nominated Juvone because they were not up for eviction the previous week while they nominated Khosicle because they are a strong pair.
    Yelisa: Royals and Thabana
Head of House Yemi Cregx also explained to Biggie that The Royals have not been up for nominations, hence Yelisa nominated them. Their second choice was Thabana and they were nominated because Yelisa sees them as competition.
At the end of it all, Royals, Thabana, Khosicle, Kaniva, and Juvone were called upon by Biggie as the pairs with the most nominations for eviction. Then the moment came for Yelisa to do their save and replace. Yelisa chose to save Kaniva and replaced them with Blaqleng.

BBTitans: Yemi Cregx, Nelisa emerge Heads of House for week six

Yemi Cregx and Nelisa have emerged the Heads of House for the sixth week in the BBTitans Zikhayala Wahala edition.

They emerged after seven of the 16 housemates left on the show gathered at the arena for the ‘Head of House’ game for the sixth Head of House game.

Unfortunately, Juvone, KhosicleT and Thabana were barred from taking part in the Challenge. This comes after Biggie charged one or more persons from the pairs with breaking the rules of the Great Divide.

After a fiercely competitive showdown, which also left three pairs out in the cold Yemi Cregx and Nelisa clinched the head of house title.
