Representatives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women in Badagry, Lagos State, have converged on Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area to mobilise support for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and other party candidates.

Former Deputy Governor Princess Sarah Sosan, who organised the meeting, said it was crucial for the women leaders to exchange ideas on how best to mobilise support for the party’s senatorial candidate for Lagos West Idiat Adebule; Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other candidates.

Sosan said: “It is time for ‘operation win your polling unit’. It is time for women to rise to the responsibility of being a part of a new Lagos West that is about to be birthed. I urge women to come out en-masse and vote for all APC candidates in the 2023 election.”

The former deputy governor reiterated that all party members must continue with the foundation of inclusiveness laid by Asiwaju Tinubu, which stands for the oneness of Nigeria.

“As we look forward to a better Nigeria and approach the 2023 elections, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains the answer. For our senatorial candidate, Adebule, her experience and character has brought her thus far, and we shall give her our support to ensure she becomes the next senator in Lagos West.”

The meeting was attended by Adebule, wife of the APC leader in Lagos West, Yeye Oluwa, Badagry Division Woman Leader Mama Ajao, Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Ramota Akinola-Hassan, and other women leaders in Lagos West.
