Bandits have killed a Chief Imam in Gangara and two farmers in Dunkawa, Sabon Birni local government, of Sokoto State.

The bandits also abducted eight others in Dunkawa.

Alhaji Musa Muhammad, chairman Sabon Birni Vigilante Group, confirmed the pensioner’s killing.

The attacks happened last week.

In Kwara State, gunmen abducted a Muslim cleric Sofiu Amolegbe, his son and a brother in Ilorin.

The incident happened on Saturday in the Oko-Olowo area of Ilorin.
