The Managing Director of Nigeria Police Force Microfinance Bank, Akin Lawal, will be the guest of honour at the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)’s forum of the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI).
The forum, to be hosted by the Bank of Industry (BoI), from tomorrow till Sunday, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, will be opened by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Its theme is ‘Strengthening African DFls through good corporate governance and appropriate regulations for sustainable development financing in Africa Event”.
According to the organisers, the forum is “a gathering of CEOs and senior executive management staff of African development finance institutions (DFls), and those of multilateral development finance institutions and international banks.
“It will provide an opportunity for participants from within and outside Africa to intensify collaborative efforts at mobilising resources for accelerating Africa’s development, exchange ideas, undertake peer review and discuss how to advance the mandates of African DFls towards achieving greater developmental impact.”
