Bauchi governor describes Jonathan as Nigeria’s best President

Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has described the former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, as the best leader Nigeria ever had. The Governor spoke in Bauchi on Friday when the former President paid him condolences over the death of his elder brother, the late Abubakar Bappa Mohammed. In his words “You remain the best thing to have happened to this country called Nigeria. Your selfless service and sacrifice have made Nigeria greater than how you met it”.

Earlier while condoling the governor and his entire family, Goodluck Jonathan said “It is a solemn assembly to pay condolence but one would have loved to visit here to commission a project. We are mortals and must die one day. I am here to condole with a younger brother who lost his elder brother,” he said.

The former President added that “The world is just a stage where we all came to play different parts. Our late brother had played his part.” The Nation reports that Jonathan also paid condolence to the Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu.
