THE management of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, ATAP, Bauchi, has debunked a report by an online platform that Mrs. Raliya Mohammed Kashim, a staff of the institution was suspended based on the order of Governor Bala Mohammed for posting videos containing campaign materials of the main opposition party, the All Progressive Congress, APC’s gubernatorial candidate, Air Marshal Saddique Baba Abubakar (rtd), in the state, on her WhatsApp status.
In a statement made available to The Nation by its Public Relations Officer on Friday, Maimako Baraya said Kashim violated the public service rule 1.4.1.9 which prohibits public officers from engaging in partisan politics, hence her suspension.
