After a one week screening exercise Benue State House of Assembly has confirmed 17 commissioner nominees forwarded to them by Governor Hycinth Alia.
Speaker of the House, Aondona Dajo during the plenary yesterday, sought the confirmation of each of the 17 commissioner nominees before the house.
Dajo said following the affirmation by members for each of the nominees, they all stand confirmed.

He commended his colleagues for cutting short their recess to carry out the assignment.
The speaker called on the commissioner designates to see their appointments as a call to duty for humanity and give their best to help the governor to deliver on his campaign promises.
Those confirmed are Mrs Joy Luga; Omale Omale; Yarmar Ortese; Pastor Frederick Ikyaan; Ogwu Odoh; Kwaghgba Amande; Mathew Abo; Itiza Imojime; Aondowase Kunde; Prof. Moses Ogbaji; Matthew Shaagee; Mike Ogblegba; Mrs Ann Itodo; Fidelis Mnyin; Ikyange Terkimbir; Nick Eworo and Awuna Orpiin.
