Some of the results of Saturday bye -elections conducted by Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) in Benue Guma1 state constituency have been declared at the various point units.
There was a large turnout of voters with the exercise holding peacefully.
There is also tight security at polling units and the Daudu collation centre .
The main contestants in the by elections are Uche Terwase of All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon. Jimin Godfrey of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter China of Labour Party (LP).
But from results collated at press time APC’s Terwase was in early lead.
