Blue House has emerged winner at the biennial inter-house sports competition of the GEC Group of Schools. The event was held on Wednesday, 14 December at Youth Center Arena in Abesan Housing Estate, Ipaja area of Alimosho council area.
Principal of the school, Tajudeen Sokenu said: ‘’Every student looks forward to participating in different games from track and field events, marching, and football games where every member of the staff is also a team player.’
Sokenu further explained that all hands are always on deck to work towards the success of the games as every academic staff puts in their best to achieve a collective result.
At the end of the competition, Yellow House came fourth but got the football trophy while Purple House, which came second also bagged the first position in the march pass. The bronze medalist, Green House claimed the third position while the Blue House took the overall prize as the winner of the 2022 inter-house sports.
