The Lagos First Generation Heritage Colleges Associations (LAFGHECA) has said it would restore the glory of schools.

This, it hopes to do through the LAFGHECA Intercollegiate Competitions, which has been on since 2009.

Chairman of LAFGHECA Dele Olapeju said the organisation is aimed at giving the students hope for the future. “We want to inculcate in them societal values devoid of hooliganism, gangsterism, cultism and other vices. We have chosen Yaba College Technology as the venue, and date is April 9, 2022. Events to hold are table tennis, volley ball, athletics, long jump, chess, scrabble and others.”

Managing Director of Golden Flower Concept Ltd, the Franchise Holding Company for the competition, noted that the association, through the old students, has rebranded the competition by making it attractive and safe for elders and students alike.
