The world changers initiative earlier this week held a three days program tagged ‘’Brace yourself boot camp’’ at Peter Akinola Foundation, Obama, Abeokuta. Which aims to influence youth in five key sectors the organisation set out such as business and economy, political, religious, education, media and entertainment.
The boot camp which had several delegates across Nigeria was the flagship event heralding the efforts of “The world changers initiative” (TWCI), in raising a breed without greed.
According to the president of the non-governmental organization Mrs Yetunde Adekunle said, the organization passion for youths is focused on grooming leaders of thoughts and influence them with a passion to learn and build capacity in preparation for a future devoted to positive light.
The boot camp program which includes morning exercise regimes, outdoor and indoor games, drama presentation, gifts and awards, interactive and networking sessions among others, hosted people of high profile such as the Director youth development centre, Olusegun Obasanjo presidential library, Mr Damian Oyibo, TEEP fellow host: The Ambassadors radio show and Convener, Prince Joshua Oyeniyi, cerebral speaker and result-oriented capacity building consultant, Mr Dele Aina
Brace Yourself Boot camp 2017 edition despite teething challenges and constraints, was a life-changing and eye-opening event that delegates couldn’t help asking for more, thus providing a template for future replications.
