A yet-to-be identified man has been stoned and burnt to death in Abuja for alleged blasphemy.
The incident, which occurred at Lugbe timber market created panic and confusion in the area.
An eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity, told The Nation: “There is stampede as police fire shots to desptach people”.

All efforts to get reaction of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police spokesman DSP Josephine Adeh were futile.
She did not pick nor respond to text messages as of the time of filing this report.
