Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has promised timely completion of Ilesa Road dualisation.
He inspected the project yesterday.
A statement by the governor’s spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, said Adeleke during his visit to Ilesa reiterated his administration’s commitment to infrastructure renewal and quality service delivery.
“Adeleke, during the inspection, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and promised that his government will ensure the project is delivered on schedule and in line with global standards.”
He assured residents of Ilesa and its environs that the dualisation project remained a top priority under his administration’s agenda to improve road networks, ease transportation and stimulate socio-economic growth across the state.

“The people of Ilesa trooped out in large numbers to welcome the governor, cheering and applauding his developmental strides. They expressed appreciation for his hands-on approach to governance and pledged their continued support for his government.”
According to Adeleke, “we are resolute in our determination to complete this project in time and with the highest quality. This dualisation will not only transform the outlook of Ilesa, but also enhance commerce, safety and general well-being of our people. I hail the contractors on site and urge them to maintain the momentum.”
The governor was accompanied by the Commissioner for Special Duty, Dr. Basiru Salami, Director of Highways, Alhaji Moruf Ojebode and top government officials.
