Triune Biblical University TBU, Nigerian Campus, matriculated fresh set of students and conferred honorary doctorate degrees to individuals who distinguished themselves in several fields of human endeavours.
According to Professor Adeleke Durojaiye, the President/Chancellor, the institution was established to provide long life commitment to Christian Higher Education, using both traditional and non-traditional approaches to higher education, revealing that the institution operates online and physical campuses in the USA and other countries across Africa,
He said, “Having wisdom and understanding is better than having silver or gold. Nice and expensive items can be enjoyable, but there are very few things in life that can never be taken away, will never go out of style, and that truly make you a better person, education is one of those things.
“There is nothing as golden as education. The purpose of Christian education is the directing of the process of human development toward God’s objective for man, godliness of character and action that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” he added.

Professor Edward Ayeni, Vice Chancellor of the institution described the process of selecting honorary awardees as flawless, out only to honour those with impeccable record of integrity and honesty, apart from distinguishing themselves in their choosen fields.
Dr. Adekunle Akintayo, an entrepreneur who is into freight forwarding and an exporter, who was awarded a doctorate degree in entrepreneurship, was full of gratitude for the recognition given him and the subsequent honour of a doctoral Degree bestowed upon him, stating, “This will encourage me to do more both to my immediate community and the country at large.”
Another honorary doctorate Degree recipient was Mrs. Olajide Oluwafunmilola, an educationist and Senior employee of the Lagos State Government, awarded with the Doctor of Public Administration. She expressed her gratitude in glowing terms both to God and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who privileged her to work with Officials of the institution which today produces the needed exposure and the eventual bestowal of the honorary degree.
