President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Dan Anyanwu as the new Provost of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.
This was contained in a statement signed by Olusegun Adekunle, Permanent Secretary (General Services Office) in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The appointment is for an initial period of four years, with effect from 25th July, 2018.
“President charged the new Provost to transform the institution into an enviable National Academic and Moral Centre of Excellence,” the statement said.
