Buhari’s victory a divine act – Cleric

Foremost social critic and reformer, Pastor (Dr.) Moses Iloh, has described Buhari’s victory at the recent presidential election as a divine act of God, and, therefore, a manifestation of His will that no man should oppose.

The General Overseer, Soul Winning Chapel, Ebute-Metta, Lagos said it was a culmination of God’s desire to establish His kingdom of justice, sanity, prosperity, happiness, unity and dynamic leadership in place of the decadent socio-political order under which for long had pervaded the national space.

Against this background, he urged that Nigerians should, therefore, not oppose God’s will, as manifested in the recent victory, but rather pray that the seed of His kingdom already planted through the victory be fully established to His own glory and the glory of man.

“Buhari has all the qualities to take Nigeria to greater heights. He has the moral will, dynamism and discipline to take Nigeria to greater heights. He said this, even long before the APC presidential primaries, and I am sure, he will never disappoint,” said the founder, Eclectic Network, a socio-political pressure group.

“It is also my prayer that God will give the president-elect the wisdom to relate with stakeholders within the APC and vice-versa in the interest of peace and unity. This becomes very necessary in order for him to have a concentrated focus which is salient for a successful presidential stewardship,” Dr. Iloh said.
