The Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC) has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, over the appointment of the organisation’s State Director of Information, Mr. Kayode Fasua, as Managing Director/Editor-in-chief of Owena Press Limited.
The commendation was given on Friday by the Director-General of LACO-FSIC, Mr Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, who described the governor as a stickler for excellence in his choice of appointees for various positions.
Yusuf-Ogunleye, who is the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, described Fasua’s appointment as deserving and well-timed, considering his wealth of experience in the media industry, and the glaring need to add impetus to the operations of Owena Press, the state-owned media heritage that publishes The Hope newspapers.
