A 30-year-old man, Nome Adolphus Ogodoali, has been electrocuted at Azu-ugwu in Abakaliki Local Government of Ebonyi State, by a high tension wire.
A source said the deceased, a carpenter, was hired by Mr. Nwachukwu Collins to get the measurement of the roof of his building under construction at Azu-ugwu.
The source said while taking the measurement, his tape touched the high tension wire, which was close to the roof and he was electrocuted
The deceased reportedly hailed from Umoji in Ezza North Council.
It was learnt that the victim’s elder brother, Chikodili, identified his body and asked for its release, as the family did not suspect foul play.
Police spokesman George Okafor confirmed the incident.
