    Jimoh teases with Luwo Gbagida

Award-winning film director, producer and actor, Abiodun Jimoh has teased his fans with his latest production, Luwo Gbagida.

The AMVCA winner recently released a short teaser from the epic film billed for release in the year.

The epic film began shooting in 2020 after Jimoh made the announcement at a briefing in Lagos.

In a chat with The Nation, Jimoh said the decision to shoot ‘Luwo Gbagida’ was sparked off by his curiosity on the historic female monarch.

“We are here to talk about a story history has shied away from. In the course of doing this, a lot of research went down. We have heard about Efunsetan Aniwura, Efunroye Tinubu, Queen Amina, Queen Moremi, to mention but a few. But, why is it that nobody ever talked about Luwo Gbagida?

“Luwo Gbagida was a woman who came before her time. I say she came before her time because today we are advocating women’s rights, women in power, the concept of feminism etc. But Luwo came at a time the world was just built around the men.

    Benjamin Kalu walks for peace

Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu is indeed a new-generation political bigwig whose future in the political terrain is seemingly bright.

Despite being a young chap, his foray into the murky waters of politics has got people talking about his dignity, and integrity.

Oftentimes, he has always told those who care to listen that his entry into politics is not for personal gain but to contribute his quota to bettering the lives of his people of Bende Federal Constituency.

With an impeccable scorecard, he has built his profile politically setting unprecedented records.

Today, the Abia State-born Deputy Speaker(DS) of the National Assembly has once again crested his name in gold with his just-concluded campaign for peace in the Southeast.

    Femi Gbajabiamila’s impact

Describing Femi Gbajabiamila as a misunderstood man is stating the obvious.

The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu is a dogged and resilient fighter, who is hell-bent on achieving his tall dreams.

The former Speaker of the Ninth National Assembly is synonymous with grace. And the reason is not far-fetched. Gbajabiamila is one of the few, who have witnessed the goodness of the creator in their lives.

Achieving his long-time dream as the speaker of the lower National Assembly indicates that anything can be achieved with hard work, loyalty and consistency. While in the lower chamber, he steered the ship differently giving the needed support to enhance national development and unprecedented infrastructural renewal in the country.

In the same vein, Gbajabiamila ensured that he spent constituency funds on projects that impacted on the lives of his constituents, an act that got him the moniker, The Good Samaritan.

Yesterday, the  lawyer converged with top Lagos political bigwigs for the  inauguration of his numerous projects that litter the state.
