Deji’s affection destabilises Allysyn ‘affair’ with Adekunle

BBNaija Level one housemate Allysyn is going through heart and cupid confusion.

Allysyn, on Day 16, opened up to Doyin and Diana about how her affection for Deji seems to be confusing her and destabilising her ‘affair’ with Adekunle.

In her conversation with Doyin, Allysyn said she wanted to pull away from him and that she was also attracted to Deji.

She also said kissing Adekunle made her realise she didn’t like him and she feared she may have led him to a place where it’s hard to get him out of. In her response, Doyin said she pitied.

Adekunle and went on to plot with Allysyn on ways for her to dump him.

In an unusual twist, Allysyn and Doyin confessed to liking Deji and agreed he was appealing to other ladies in the House.

In her conversation with Diana, Allysyn mentioned that Adekunle spoke about being exclusive and felt she may have led him to this conclusion because of the kiss they shared, and the fact that she initiated the kiss made things worse.

She eventually resolved to talk to Adekunle even though it will be hard to have such a conversation. Diana went on to ask her who she liked and she mentioned Deji.

This shocked Diana because she was aware of Doyin’s affection for him and asked Allysyn if she knew about Doyin’s feelings. Allysyn replied in the affirmative and said even though Deji is attractive, she doesn’t want to break up with Adekunle and follow Deji.

  • BBNaija’s ‘Beauty Takura’ may not be a lawyer – NBA VP

BBNaija’s ‘Beauty Takura’ may not be a lawyer – NBA VP

The first Vice President Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) John Aikpokpo-Martins (Esq.) has said that Beauty Takura, who was disqualified from the BBNaija Season 7 reality show, may not be a lawyer as claimed.

Aikpokpo-Martins, in a post on his Facebook page, explained the action, which led to her disqualification from the show, prompted a swift check on the database of the roll of legal practitioners kept at the Supreme Court and members of the NBA where none of which her name was found.

According to him, her action may bring shame to members and the profession, if truly she is a lawyer.

In the statement titled: “Re: Beauty Takura, lawyer and former Miss Nigeria disqualified from BBNaija Season 7,” the lawyer urged anyone who may know her true identity, should that be the case, to come forward.

He said: “My attention and I guess of a large number of lawyers in Nigeria have been drawn to news reports that one Beauty Tukura, who is claimed and/or claims to be a lawyer participated and also got ignominiously disqualified from the on-going Big Brother Naija reality show “for throwing her wig and glasses at” a co-participant in the show after a party.

“These reports have been very embarrassing to most members of the legal profession and may in all reasonable probability bring the profession into disrepute if found to be true.

“A quick check of the databases of the Roll of Legal Practitioners kept in the Supreme Court and the Nigerian Bar Association failed to reveal the name “Beauty Tukura” to be on the Supreme Court Roll or to be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

“However, I hereby appeal to anyone who may be aware of her true name assuming we may have gotten her real name wrong to reach out to me”.

However, many Facebook users, while noting that it is her “private life” have condemned the post and called on the NBA to focus on more important issues.

Responding to one of the comments, Aikpokpo-Martins said “if she is not a lawyer, she may get arrested for impersonation”.

Six housemates disqualified from BBNaija so far

It is the dream of every applicant of the BBNaija to be selected for the Reality show as it translates to instant fame even if a housemate is the first to be evicted from the show. That shows how popularly the Big Brother Reality TV show is.

After being selected and inducted, Housemates familiarise themselves with a list of house rules to which they must abide by during their entire stay in the house. But rules can be fragile and careless housemates easily break them.

Fortunately, breaking one rule in the Big Brother’s house is not usually enough to send the offender packing immediately. Housemates are issued strikes for every time they break a rule – some rules are too negligible and the offender might get off with just an ordinary warning from Big Brother.

But for the case of strikes, every housemate can only survive two strikes during their stay in the house, receiving a third strike will mean instant disqualification from the show.

Disqualified housemates are made to exit the show from the backdoor and are not allowed to grant interviews or talk to the live audience. Disqualified BBNaija housemates will also not receive any money or other prizes they have won from their participation in the house tasks.

Here is the list of housemates that have been disqualified from the BBNaija reality TV show so far:

    · Kemen

Ex-BBNaija housemate Kemen opened the door of disqualifications in recent seasons of Big Brother after his disqualification in 2017. On Sunday, March 5, 2017, Kemen, a Portharcourt-based fitness entrepreneur, was disqualified from the BBNaija Season 2 reality TV show tagged “See Gobe” for sexually touching female co-housemate Tboss without her consent while she was asleep. In a series of interviews, BBNaija Kemen whose real name is Ekemini Ekerette has maintained that the event did not happen as was depicted on TV.

    · Khloe and K-Brule

BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ housemates Khloe and K-Brule were evicted from the BBNaija Season 3 reality TV show as a pair in 2018. The housemates were paired in teams of two in that season of Big Brother. Khloe and K-Brule who were a team were disqualified after they earned their third strike for bad behaviour.

The duo got their first strike when K. Brule got drunk and jumped from the first floor of the BBNaija house. They got another strike when Khloe called K-Brule’s mother a whore on live TV.

The altercation apparently started when K-Brule tried to kiss co-housemate Leo, and Leo told Khloe about this. Khloe who was the head of house then went to confront K-Brule and in the process, she called K-Brule’s mother a whore. K-Brule threatened to physically harm Khloe, almost hitting her, but was restrained by other housemates. The two received their third strikes for the fight and were ejected out of the show.

    · Tacha

Tacha’s disqualification from the BBNaija Season 4 reality TV show tagged “Pepper Dem” drew the biggest attention probably because she was a strong contender in the show before her disqualification. Tacha was disqualified from the show in 2019 following her infamous fight with co-housemate and rival Mercy Eke.

After their fight, Tacha was disqualified while Mercy was issued two strikes. For pushing, shoving and also pulling Mercy’s hair, Tacha was found guilty of physical violence and intent to harm and was disqualified.

    · Erica

Erica who had already received two strikes and a “final warning” from Big Brother was disqualified from the 2020 BBNaija Lockdown show on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Erica’s offences that led to her disqualification include denying the deputy head of house (Prince) access to the head of house lounge, pouring water on the bed of head of house lounge, peeping through the windows and trying to talk to the camera crew and bullying co-housemate Laycon.

    · Beauty
