    Big Brother Naija Level one housemate, Hermes has said stripper Chi Chi has insecurity issues.

    Hermes said this recently in the house while fielding questions on eviction nomination.

    He said he would have nominated Chi Chi if he had the chance to stating that she suffers from insecurity.

    “I would have nominated Chi Chi because her insecurity comes too far. It takes too much time to get her in line, she likes to argue for nothing, not out of a sense of relevance. Her insecurity sets us back, it takes us a lot to get her back,” Hermes said.

    BBNaija Season 7 housemate Deji has been causing ripples with his physical attributes.

    The 31-year-old pharmacy technician has already caught the attention of the ladies in both houses.

    Deji was one of two housemates introduced by Ebuka during the Live Eviction Show on Sunday and entered Level 1 as a fake Housemate.

    Chichi was one of the first ladies to make her attraction to Deji obvious.

    She had been seen on several occasions engaging with him in group and one-on-one conversations.

    Chomzy started playing her cards soon after as she sometimes planted herself in conversations that Chichi would be having with Deji.

    The most recent interest was from Doyin who seemed to have a lot to share with Deji.

    Following his time spent with most of the Level 1 ladies in the kitchen when he was cooking, Doyin and Deji headed to the lounge to chat some more.

    It was there she denied knowing Cyph from Level 2 all too well despite the kiss that she shared with Cyph.

    The lover-boy also made it onto the radar of the ladies in Level 2.

    He was at the tip of the tongues of a lot of the ladies during their Diary Session with Biggie.

    Christy O even said that while Modella was cool, she wished that Deji was the one sent into Level 2 instead.

    Biggie has denied Phyna’s request to see ex-HoH and level one housemate Eloswag.

    Phyna made the plea during her Diary session on day nine of her stay in the show.

    After her brief Diary session, Biggie asked if Phyna had anything else she would like to discuss with Big Brother to which she requested “Can I have just 30 mins with Eloswag?”

    Biggie declined her request saying, “It’s a good thing that Saturday is around, wouldn’t you agree?”

    Phyna responded: ‘Yes Biggie.”

    A not-too-happy Phyna left the Diary room feeling unfulfilled but was quick to return to others housemates since she couldn’t discuss her session with any of them.

    BBNaija level one housemate Doyin has had a heart-to-heart talk with Deji over her brief kiss with level two housemate and perceived threat, Cyph.

    In a chat with Deji, who has fast settled into the level one house after he was ushered in by Ebuka during the first live show, Doyin admitted liking Cyph and engaging in a brief kiss with him just before she set her eyes on Deji.

    “I like Cyph before I met you. I don’t know Cyph as much as I would have loved to but we are not in the same house.

    “However, that doesn’t mean I am telling him off next time I see him,” she began.

    “I like you,” she told Deji, who queried if she has an attitude of jumping on every new male housemate that comes into the level one house.

    Doyin responded: “I like you and I am not jumping at everyone, I am just saying, I met him and liked him because of his energy, he was competitive and I loved the energy when he corrected Biggie about the correct pronunciation of his name in front of all the housemates. But I don’t know him well enough because we are not on the same level.”

    Deji asked what happens when next she sees Cyph and she smartly avoided the question.

    Doyin had taken her romance shot at Deji immediately he walked into the house and has been trying to be open to him.

    BBNaija level two housemate Daniella has said she doesn’t see her fellow housemate Modella as a threat.

    Daniella made this known during her Diary session on day 9 in the BBNaija Level Up house.

    The poet admitted that Modella, who is a fake housemate, is beautiful and nice but she doesn’t see her as a threat.

    “I don’t see Modella as a threat because I am confident and comfortable in who I am,” was her response when Biggie asked if she sees the new housemate as a threat.

    On her thought about the second fake housemate, who is in level one, Daniella said from her little interaction with him during the HoH games, she can only admit that he’s nice.

    BBNaija housemate Chomzy has announced her plans to snatch Groovy, a Level 2 housemate from Beauty.

    Chomzy stated this to her bestie, Chichi during a chat in the wee hours of Tuesday.

    Groovy and Beauty began flirting about the minute they got into the House and by day two, of the show it seemed they’d formed a connection already.

    Despite that, Chomzy still has her eyes on Groovy who she danced with at the Saturday night party, an action that infuriated Beauty which earned her a strike in the process as a result of her behaviour to Ilebaye.

    Feeling slighted that Ileaye her supposed ‘bestie’ was with other Level 2 housemates discussing her matter at the dining, Beauty walked up to her and yanked off her wig; thus earning a strike afterwards.

    But Chomzy having no intention to back down on ‘chasing’ Groovy told Chichi, “I’m too fine to be in a try and go, na to go snatch that groovy from Beauty.”

    Responding, Chichi noted: “snatching is allowed.”

    BBNaija Level 1 housemates Bella and Sheggz have finally settled their rift.

    On Monday, Bella told Sheggz that she needed some space with his efforts of Sheggz to convince her proving abortive.

    But Bella on Tuesday afternoon accepted Sheggz pleas and ordered him to cuddle her in bed.

    BBNaija Level 1 housemate Bella has told Sheggz that she needed space.

    This is coming after Chichi lambasted Sheggz over his comment.

    The whole incident started when Chichi misunderstood Sheggz who said she would be classified as “Gen-Z”.

    Chichi thought Sheggz had meant it in a mean-spirited way and had a go at him.

    After her fellow Housemates explained that she had misheard Sheggz, Chichi apologized, but it is yet to be seen if her apology was accepted.

    A few hours later, the 25-year-old Bella was heard telling Sheggz that she needed some space.

    Sheggz proved persistent in his advances as he tried to convince Bella of his pure intentions but looks like Bella wants nothing to do with relationships for now.

    Five BBNaija Level Up Housemates Amaka, Christy O, Cyph, Khalid, and Phyna have became the first housemates to be nominated for possible eviction.

    At least one of the housemates is expected to exit the Big Brother house this weekend.

    The new Head of House (HoH) Hermes holds the sole privilege of nominating any housemate that would be expelled from the show.

    Hermes confessed to Big Brother that he had tried as hard as he could to listen to the instructions and stay calm through the process.

    He said the nomination process was not an easy one because of the bond they had already formed with the Level 2 Housemates.

    “We have to do our best to hold up space to be in the House as long as we can,” Hermes said.

    The HoH justified his nominations saying: “Amaka has a strong voice and she might be saved because of how strong she is in and out of the House.

    “Christy O did a lot of things. She’s quite a voice.

    “Cyph is the strongest and most confident. He made it to the finals of the HoH challenge. He’s a threat to myself and my team.”

    On Khalid, Hermes emphasised: “His win is my win and his loss is my loss. He’s my brother but I have to Nominate him.”
    “Phyna is quite the alpha. She has a very strong voice and she is confident.”

    #BBNaija S7: Hermes emerges HoH for week two

    Hermes has emerged Head of House for week two in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Level Up edition.

    The Big Brother Naija Level Up housemates held their second Head of House games at 7 pm on Monday, August 1.

    The game provided all 24 real housemates and two fake housemates to meet each other.

    Big Brother explained there were two games the housemates would play for the Head Of House to emerge.

    The game’s winner would earn privileges, including bragging rights as the second Head of House and immunity from the week’s eviction.

    The winner’s exemption would cover his or her house level – just like in week one.

    The two new and fake housemates – Deji and Modella – were prevented from participating in the HOH games.

    The first Head of House, Eloswag, was also prevented from participating as the incumbent. Hence, 23 housemates participated in the Head Of House game.

    Big Brother also announced that the housemate with the worst performance would take the title, Tail of the house, which comes with some rewards or responsibilities.

    In the first challenge, there were 23 bowls filled with a liquid and 10 wristwatches each, and housemates were made to set the time to 4’o clock.

    The first five winners will go to the next round. Big Brother also stopped Chomzy, Khalid from proceeding to the next stage because their wristwatches failed to tell the actual time as instructed despite finishing in record time.

    At the end of the game, Dotun, Cyph and Hermes, successfully passed the first challenge and qualified for the next round.

    Big Brother also conferred the title of Tail of the House to Chi Chi for making the least attempt at completing the game. Biggie announced that Dotun would reveal Chi Chi’s reward or responsibilities later. He is expected to share his reward for microphone infringement with Chi Chi.

    At the end of the second game, Hermes won the round and became the second Head of House of BBNaija Level Up. Only the HoH has the power to nominate.

    The rest of the housemates may suggest or advise him on who to select for possible eviction. The HOH is not allowed to mention or insinuate who their choice is until called to the diary room.

    Hermes belongs to House level one, meaning that all the housemates in the level are safe from eviction in the second week. This is coming as the first Head of House, Eloswag also belongs to the level one house.
