  • Rico evicted from #BBNaija

    Rico Swavey has joined the list of housemates that has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija house this Sunday evening.

    Rico who was genuinely surprised that he made it this far, admitted that he wasn’t sure how he got here. He was quick to say he wasn’t disappointed but he saw it as an opportunity.

    “I don’t know how I got here. I wont say I was disappointed, going through the course of time, I found it as an opportunity. It doesn’t stop me from moving forward in life.”

    Ebuka wanted to know if he played it safe but Rico said he was just being himself all through the rosy ride.

    “I wasn’t playing safe I was just being me for the same reason that I wasn’t in some argument. I did me and me has brought me this far in the house. I wasn’t hiding but I had some off points. Life is good and I enjoyed the moment and have fun.”

    Rico Swavey also admitted deep intense love for ex-Big Brother housemate, Ahneeka. He spoke of her as strong and passionate for whatever she stood for and he definitely picked her over Alex and Khloe.

    “Over time I grew feelings for Ahneeka. She is very strong about what she wants. If someone has that kind of impact in your life, you will be genuinely attracted. Who I really liked the most was Ahneeka, of the trio of Ahneeka, Khloe and Alex.”

    Moving forward, he expressed a desire to own a restaurant but was keen on music the more.

    “I always wanted to have a restaurant, however I can cook, hopefully I can have restaurant.”

    “I want to pay attention to music. It is what made me leave the house to sell things and get more studio time to tell my story.”

  • Khloe is someone I am scared of – Cee-C

    As Housemate give dissenting views on Caucus in the House…

     

    Big Brother Housemates have this evening given dissenting views on the division that has continued to go on in the house.

    Khloe who suddenly seemed to develop amnesia when asked about the issue said there were no divisions existing in the house. Ebuka who was quick to prompt her back to her conversation where she cooked for herself and Cee-C, denied all forms of any division saying it was settled over a sumptuous meal by noon.

    “I said there were four people in a separate camp which involves Alex, Nina ,Miracle and Tobi. We have sorted it out. We sorted it out this morning over a sumptuous meal Tobi cooked us this afternoon,” Khloe said.

    Cee-C agreed to the division in the house and when asked about her new bromance with Khloe, she said she used to be scared of her initially.

    “Khloe is someone I am scared of. But we had conversation and I found out that deep down, she is not as troublesome as I thought. The house is getting boring. So we became friends.”

    When asked about the divison, Cee-C said:

    “Some people insult you, some say they don’t trust you.” She made claim that she tried to forestall the division, but it didn’t work.

    Tobi was of the opinion that Khloe scattered the house herself.

    “Khloe came and scattered the house herself. Everyone had their own issues but Khloe came with the ‘I will do it for me and my people.’ We tried to talk to her but Khloe is not the type that tackles issues when she is strong on her opinion.”

    Anto believed Khloe was doing a good job. Anto also claimed that Cee-C instigated the divison in the house and had this to say in her defence.

    “Cee-C started the full separation and Cee-C cooked for five people. Khloe is doing a very good job. I have no idea on caucuses in the house. We are nine and I feel that I am cool with everyone.“

  • BBNaija: I have never celebrated my birthday since I was 10- Tobi

    Big Brother Housemate, Tobi Bakre said he has never celebrated his birthday ever since he clocked 10.

    Tobi said this evening while conversing with Alex, in the closet.

    Alex also attested to this. She spoke of her friend who was unable to celebrate her birthday because she lacked funds.

    But when she finally got the credit alert of three thousand naira from her Dad, she squandered it all on a cake.

    Tobi said his birthday were reminders of past glories and future conquests.

    “I have never had any celebration since my 10 year old birthday. I am always alone, moody and concerned about the next phase of my life and the things I am yet to achieve,” Tobi told Alex.

  • #BBNaija: Tobi relives story of female ‘toaster’

    Big Brother Housemate, Tobi Bakre, has said he enjoys bold ladies who reach out to men.

    Tobi said this while conversing with Alex, Miracle and Anto in the garden. He said he was out for a drink when a lady slipped her card into his pocket, motioning him to call her.

    “This lady who was obviously hanging out with her friends reached out to me by putting her card in my pocket.

    “She was yo, I am hanging with my friends but will like you to reach out.”

    This was few minutes before he travelled to South Africa for the Big Brother Naija show.

    Tobi however, promised to reach out to the lady.

    Reacting to the incident, Miracle said, “I like it when ladies reach out. It shows that they are bold.”

    Miracle also gave his own account of a lady who stalked him in a mall.

    Alex and Anto, obviously enjoying the conversation grinned in laughter.

    Meanwhile, Tobi also disclosed that his mum was still waiting for him to bring home a wife.  He talked of a particular lady he refused to tie the knot with.

    “Her name is Omotunde,” Tobi said. “I should have gotten married to her but I didn’t see the process through. Everybody knows about this in the family, even her sister as well.”

    Tobi quickly made a shoutout to Omotunde, saying he wished things went the way it should have.

    Anto, however was quick to warn him that people outside are crazy.

    “They sent me the handle of the person Lolu was involved with. They would have googled this lady right now, even if it were as little as a nickname,” She said.

    Tobi had earlier on told Alex that he hated being pressured into a relationship.

    “I am still young and hustling,” said Tobi.

    “Some days I get money, and other days I don’t. Sometimes I don’t just want to converse with anybody.”

    He told Alex that this behaviour of his made him lose very good-natured ladies like Bukky, his friend before he entered into the house.

  • #BBNaija: Igbinedion University releases BamBam’s results

    Igbinedion University has released the alleged result of Ex- Big Brother Naija Housemate BamBam.

    It was gathered that the results were to debunk claims of her (BamBam) failing as a result of sexual advances made by some lecturers in the university.

    The University, took to its fan page, @iuo_fanpage, released the documents and wrote;

    Big Brother Housemate, Tobi Bakre has said he enjoys bold ladies who reach out to men.
    He said this in the afternoon while conversing with Alex, Miracle and Anto in the garden.

    Big Brother Housemate, Tobi Bakre said his mum was still waiting for him to bring home a wife.

    Tobi made this known in his community of beloved friends and companions; Alex, Miracle and Anto.

    Tobi made claim to a particular lady he should have married but refused to tie the knot with. He also said she was good-natured and homely.

  • BBNaija: i-Phone almost made me fall sick- Rico

    Big Brother Housemate, Rico swavey spent this afternoon relieving his glory days as Khloe prodded him to give the backstory in winning the Nokia Challenge.

    He took Khloe through the whole concept as Cee-C listened in on the conversation.

    At the end, Khloe wanted to know how much was won.

    “One million, the Nokia 8 phone and some shopping vouchers.” Rico responded.

    Then they switched to the phones they used before they came into the house. Rico who promised to give the Nokia android to his mum told Khloe and Cee-C they he had been using a torchlight phone before entering into the house.

    “My i-phone was always giving me troubles, so much that it made me fall sick,” He said.

    Cee-C who tried to care less about Rico’s win; said the next gift she needed after the house is an i-Phone.

  • BBNaija: Iyanya, Bisola, invite Teddy A to music collaboration

    Recently evicted housemate Teddy A has received invitations for music collaborations from Nigerian pop artist Iyanya and BBNaija season two first runner up Bisola.

    The two musicians, who are signed on the same management platform, reached out to Teddy A through their Twitter accounts after his eviction on Sunday.

    ‘Kukere’ crooner, Iyanya wrote @Iyanya, “Yooooo @iamteddya #Biko hit me up once you get into Gidi. Make we enter studio cook banger! #AlphaMale #BBNajia #TMC #BeTheMovement.”

    Minutes later, Bisola, who just released a new music single, commented @iambisola, writing: “Bruv @Iyanya, I need to be that studio with you and @iamteddya. Let’s do this! #BBNaija #AlphaMale #TMC #BeTheMovement.”

    Meanwhile, other Nigerian stars have been drumming support for Teddy A right after his eviction, especially the growth of his music with some urging him to utilise the platform.

    Mavin records boss Don Jazzy wrote on his Twitter handle @donjazzy, “Bam and Teddy will be very fine sha. Win or no win. They are mad talented and ready for the industry. #bbnaija.”

    Former Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu, wrote @siruti, “TeddyA’s screen presence is undeniably extreme. The man is def gonna go places.”

    Acclaimed media personality J.J. Omojuwa @omojuwa tweeted, “Teddy A will do outside the house. At least he got the talent and persona to be a star.”

    Teddy A was evicted on Sunday after securing total 16.81 per cent of the votes, coming third after Nina and CeeC.

    The housemate, who was best known for his musical prowess, spent the most part of his stay in the house glued to his love interest BamBam.

    However, in a twist, BamBam was evicted on Saturday after the party, which left Teddy A feeling down as he visibly shed tears.

    The ex-housemate reiterated the need to focus on his music now that his time on the show is over.

    This leaves CeeC, Nina, Rico Swavey, Miracle, Tobi, Alex, Anto, Lolu and Khloe to continue the battle for the 45 million naira star prize.

  • Double Wahala: Controversies trail Sunday eviction results

    Several controversies have trailed BBNaija’s Sunday eviction results, as concerns raised from various quarters suggest the results might have been ‘rigged’.

    This is the first time the show, which is in its third season, has been accused of tampering with votes for gains and ratings.

    Prior to the show, several viewers on Twitter had suggested that they knew what the results were going to be, due to perceived ‘favouritism’ on the part of the organisers.

    A Twitter handle @BBNaija Leaks wrote on Saturday, “So as we promised informing you On This Week Leaked Result;
    1st-Nina
    2nd-Teddy A
    3rd-Cee c
    4th-BamBam

    “Which One or Two of the names above would be evicted from the #BBNaija Game.”

    Few hours later, the same handle tweeted, “So information just got to us that due to our accurate leaks, Teddy A would be the victim(eviction) of a flipped script tonight ’cause @BBNaija and his crew are trying to save face.”

    In response to the trending ‘leaks’, host of the show Ebuka Obi-Uchendu tweeted @Ebuka, “Predictions are not leaks.”

    However, on Sunday, the show came under ‘fire’ again when a viewer calculated the votes gotten by each nominated housemates and revealed that they did not add up to hundred per cent.

    According to the votes, Nina had 44.00 per cent, CeeC had 24.38 per cent, Teddy A had 16.81 per cent and BamBam gathered 13.37 per cent.

    Highlighting the errors, a viewer @ib_Granville tweeted, “See what was wrong with last night’s results
    1) Votes don’t sum up to 100%.
    2) Wrong display, it’s usually in form of a bar chart with their names, not pictures.
    3) That’s not the official portrait for BamBam, a different picture was used.
    @BBNaija ???”

    Minutes later, show organisers responded to the queries through their official Instagram handle @bigbronaija, writing: “Dear viewers, an incorrect percentage was published for Nina during this night’s eviction show.

    “While we deeply regret this error, we wish to state that the audited and verified percemtage for Nina is 45.44 per cent as opposed to the previously published 44 per cent.

    “We thank you for your usual support and understanding,” they said.

    Viewers, however, have expressed deep concerns over the authencity of the show results, some fearing that their favorites might be affected.

    Despite the apology issued by the show organisers some other viewers have taken to social media to table their disappointments.

    @isibor.grace wrote on Instagram, “I hope you won’t make mistake to announce the real winner.”

    @joy.oj wrote, “How many other housemates have you done this to? You decided to post this because you were called out for the missing 1.44 per cent. Continue.”

    Meanwhile, Nina, CeeC, Tobi, Miracle, Lolu, Anto, Alex, Rico Swavey and Khloe are left to battle for the star prize worth 45 million naira.
