Quadri Atanda urges upcoming artists to have lyrical contents

Quadri Rasheed Atanda, a thoroughbred and seasoned artiste manager, who is widely known and referred to as MC, has urged upcoming artists to ensure they develop lyrical contents suitable for the listening audience.

“I will advise today’s acts and those upcoming acts to infuse more substance and content into their lyrics and songs and not just make dance or street music. This will enable them to stay long in the game,” he said as an advice to young and rising music acts.

While leveraging on his 15 years of experience across the travels, tourism and entertainment industry to build a name for himself, Quadri is currently handling the management of Oluwafemi Sodimu aka DJ Boombastic and music youngster, Fatiah Kanyinsola Ojediran aka  Phatiah.

Speaking further on what makes a good artist manager and how challenging it can be working with an egoistic artist, he said, “A good artist manager must be able to keep up with the trends in the music industry. He or she must also have the ability to network and build good relationships with people in the entertainment and media. And must have the willpower to put an artist in check when going overboard because many artists are eccentric in nature. Overall, managers must make sure they build a good image for their acts.”
